I wrote several rpg's in the late 1980's and early 90's. They at the time where not your standard hack slash games - they actually cumulated into something that was quite cool - storywise in the Stone Mist games.

The games I wrote where Stone Mist 1, Dragons Shard, Terradyne, Terradyne Quest Pack 1 and finally (my favorite) Stone Mist 2.

Dragons Shard was featured in shareware magazine, as it was one of the first rpg's to extensively use a mouse. Stone Mist 2 was by far the most polished of the bunch; it had a real good story with a bunch of intersecting plots. I guess the coolest compliment was when I got a kudo's note from one of the original Wizardry guy's, telling me how good the story was and entertaining the game was.
