Annotated Bibliography
As with any sufficiently complex endeavor, there is a certain amount of research required. With the
development of GLR I needed to accumulate an inordinate number of books covering everything
from cellular automata, genetic and evolutionary techniques to books on neuro and physiological
anatomy. And I still have *a lot* more to purchase and digest.
What I will provide here is an annotated bibliography on resources that I have in my personal
library. I personally find straight bibliographies almost worthless. When I read a book, I
not only want the references but I also want an annotation on what parts of the text the author
found useful.
When I read a book of some complexity, I keep a journal with a basic outline of the ideas that
I consider of note. These ideas are not only items that I agree with but also the ones I find in
contradication to my own scientific views. This inconjunction with my own theoretical foundations
to the GLR-AI system allow me to expand and re-engineer subsystem when appropriate.
